Kelly Fait is a San Diego based painter, and the creator behind Gnarly Nebulae, an ever-evolving body of artwork that explores complicated relationships between things alive & dead - from humans, stars, & plants, to faith, feelings, & music trends.

Kelly’s artwork uses a mix of bold, grungy colors and sharp linework to capture places she has visited in person and in her head. She leans into the discomfort of abstract spaces and the safety of tiny crevices, inspired by early life experiences of loss and a growing assuredness guided by faith.

When she’s not painting, Kelly runs a private therapy practice, helping adult women find their own ways to channel life’s chaos into creativity.
